MAKING SENSE OF FND Course FAQ
-
This course is designed for anyone living with FND - Functional Neurological Disorder. It is also useful for family and friends - as well as others supporting you
-
I created this course as I was seeing many people living with FND who had been given minimal support or information about their condition - or how to manage it. There is a lot of information on the web however it can be tiring for someone with FND to read that much. I wanted to create something accessible and empowering.
-
My name is Sophie Morris - I graduated as a physiotherapist in 1996 and specialise in neurological rehabilitation. I have been working closely with people living with FND for a number of years now. This course was designed based on both recent research as well as my own experience with real people living with FND - seeing what helped and what didn’t!
-
You have access for as long as the program is available. This means you'll be able to revisit the course materials anytime while the program remains active. Please note that if the program is discontinued or no longer available for any reason, access will no longer be provided
-
12 recorded sessions between 5-35minutes long covering what FND is, ideas around treatment, therapists, management - and a session especially for family and friends to watch. I may add or change sessions as research evolves and as I am inspired to share more in depth information. There is also a few meditation and breathwork sessions included in this course - designed especially for people living with FND
-
Due to the digital nature of the program there is no money back guarantee on the purchase of the course
-
Sophie has limited availability in her clinic and via Telehealth - reach out via the website contact form to discuss. Personal questions emailed will not be able to be answered without an appointment and this course is not considered personal medical advice.
